I had been rowing for about a year when I committed to Sacred Heart University on scholarship to row. Rowing for Port Jeff and now in college has made me into a well rounded individual and given me skills to help me in all areas of my life. This sport has given me many unique opportunities that I otherwise would not have had. I'm forever grateful for my coaches and all of the friends I made along the way. I would recommend rowing to anyone who wants to work hard to push their limits and be a part of a supportive and encouraging team.
