We welcome the Stony Brook School officially for its second season with us boasting a roster of 15. A mix of junior novice boys and girls. The partnership with the school has been incredible and we really enjoy the assets and facilities they share not just with their students but our entire club.
Recently, PJRC signed a contract with the Port Jefferson Yacht Club for new space in its upper lot and use of the facilities and docks! The clubhouse is open to all PJRC members for showers, bathrooms and respite from training. We also have new access to the wonderful view upstairs on the deck under the overhang.
Members also enjoy hassle free parking in the upper lot.
Last week PJRC bought a new midweight double for $10,500 to be used between all masters and juniors programs. Our fleet now boasts 3 quads, 4 doubles, 16 singles, 2 fours and 3 eights. Most boats are 2019 or newer.
Spring learn to row for all new interested parties starts next week including masters. One week programs giving anyone of any ability a low cost, low time commitment way into the sport.
Back by popular demand. Please contact the PJ Village Center for more details. Classes starting in April.
Text or call with any questions. Until next week.
